I read the following a while back and it made a lot of sense to me and I try to remember that developing patience will help me to have a more rational approach the next time my patience is tested.<br /><br />"Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success."Mary Janenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12436268.post-90432413910710432572010-11-18T09:58:09.608-08:002010-11-18T09:58:09.608-08:00I breathe. Sometimes I just have to take a deep breath and remind myself that this too shall pass. What's the worse that could happen if I'm a few minutes late. When it comes to working with people, I just tell myself, "I have the opportunity to make this person's day" and by doing so, I can improve my day. I think listening and patience go hand in hand for when you truly listen to someone, you're cultivating patience.Stephanie O'https://www.blogger.com/profile/03824850276961867089noreply@blogger.com
