Library Love! And Happy V-day
These cute little silicone teacup forms came from my library, which has recently added a bakeware selection to the lending offerings. Cool! I made a basic cake batter and cooked the cupcakes right in the forms. Then I topped with a coconut cream-chocolate chip icing. (As an aside, it's yummy and vegan.)
The fabulous fabric is from Angela. It's sweet and cheerful, just like her.
And Happy Valentine's Day! I confess, I love this day. I look forward to sending Valentines to my friends and family, and I love the sweetness. I know that it's cool to dismiss this day as fabricated fluffery, but nonetheless I love it. I think of Valentine's Day as an appreciation of friends day as much as anything else.
So enjoy this day, even if it's simply to give yourself a little love.

You are *clearly* speaking of another Angela, but I wanted to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day all the same! ;)
How great to be able to borrow bakeware from your library! As always, love your photo!
Dear Angela - I won this fabric from you a couple of years ago. "). And you are sweet and cheerful!
This is a few days late...but Happy Valentine's Day! I'm all for celebrating all types of love (romantic, family, friendship) on Feb. 14th.
February is Library Lovers' Month. That is so cool that your library lends bakewares to its patrons! I'm an avid supporter of libraries and just recently learned about the "Little Free Libraries" (LFL) popping up all over Canada and the U.S. I completely geeked out when I saw the cute images of LFL posted on the internet. I can't set up my own LFL, but would like to check out some of the local LFL when the weather is nicer.
Lending bakeware???How cool! Ours lends seeds, but then we're in an organic area...I remember seeing those molds a few years ago. So cute! Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Now I wouldn't have thought of bakeware at the library. What a cute idea for Valentine's. Sounds like it was special.
I love love love Valentine's Day too - so much fun and secrets and loves and sweetness. I feel sorry for those who denounce it (and christmas) by saying that they don't like the two holidays because they show love all year round. Really? Then why not share it on these very special days too?
It is such fun to surprise friends with something special - even a small token always makes someone feel better, and loved.
Ohhh forgot - those are the cutest cupcakes I've ever seen - I must find some for myself.
My sister just gifted me with a set of these silicone teacups. How adorable! And how creative of the library to have a bake ware section.
