Might You Want One of These? (Mighty Leaf Thermos Giveaway)

Mighty Leaf teas has been mighty kind to me by sending me occasional tea samples. This week, I got a box in the mail (prompting a little happy dance from me). Inside was this double-ply stainless steel thermos. Mighty Leaf asked me to review the thermos, and they're offering another one as a blog giveaway! Yippee! These sell for $12.95, so it's a nice giveaway.

The thermos has a clever design. A tea bag string fits through the hole in the top, allowing the drinker to pull up the bag and snug it in this little recessed area in the top. No longer do you have to deal with over-steeped tea in your thermos because your commute is a few minutes too long. It works well; I like it.

The only thing I could find to pick on about this thermos is that it doesn't close. The sip hole is always open, so be careful as you carry it into work. But even that has an advantage...sometimes the tea in a thermos is too hot for me to sip immediately, and this hole will help it cool just a wee bit faster.

I'll be on a work trip next week, and you can bet a pound of tea this thermos will be with me.
More info about the thermos is here.
To qualify for the giveaway, leave a comment telling me where you'd take this thermos. I'll use a random-number generator to pick a winner. And send your thanks to Mighty Leaf!

Very nice! And I love Mighty Leaf tea. A friend recently sent me some of their Vanilla Bean tea. Yum! Let's see ... I would take this tea thermos with me to my grandsons' football games. Yes, it's that time of year again! :-)

  3. I can't believe it! Finally there is something for us tea lovers out there. I would take the thermos in my car on my drive to work. Especially in winter this would come in handy.

I would take on my way to work. I work at a Living History Farm and on winter mornings I'd use it to warm up my insides before I get out of the car to go to the garden and unheated cabins. In fact I'd keep it w/ me and full until the first schoolchild arrives!!

  6. Another nice stainless steel thermos! You can never have too many of those!

I'd most likely take it with me in the car for my weekly, early morning, hour long commutes to the airport.

  7. What a nice thing for Mighty Leaf to do. I would use the thermos around the house. With a little one underfoot my tea is cold be the time I find a moment to drink it.

  10. If I'm not too late to enter ... I'd take it to work - and let me tell you, in cold New England winters waiting for the subway above ground, you need something like this!

  11. I didn't see a time limit so I'll go ahead and comment. I'd take it with me on walks through beautiful Autumn woods, so I could drink the hot soothing tea while sitting on a cool rock amongst the brilliant fall foliage. Ah...that's the life!

  12. That is a really clever design. I don't have a daily commute, but this thermos would come in handy for road trips, or for those sometimes long waits at various offices.
