Zinnias

Zinnias take me back to my grandmother's gigantic garden. She had bush green beans and vines of squash, horseshoe-shaped cucumbers and giant tomatoes. And stuck in the middle, a very long row of zinnias.

Those zinnias are pretty - such bright colors.

When I think of my grandma's garden I think of her cherry trees, and the cucumber, garlic and dill that she grew to make her own dill pickles.

Zinnias are pretty, but it seems like when we have grown them they get mildew. Not sure how to resolve that one. I do enjoy them in other peoples gardens. Beautiful.
