I'm really liking this Bewley's Irish Breakfast tea. Irish Breakfast is traditionally an Assam, which makes a very strong tea. The typical "wake me up" punch. I'm not a huge fan of the Assam intensity. What I like about this Bewley's is that it is mixed with Darjeeling. The Darjeeling gives the Assam a counter-balance. For me, this is a great cuppa.
Also, I poured some of Tea G's Hurricane Herbal over ice today. LOVE it! Hurricane Herbal is indeed very herbally, and drinking it over ice is so refreshing.

I'm glad you like the Hurricane herbal. I haven't tried mine yet so I'm glad to know that it's good. It seems strange to be drinking ice tea but then again you're in the desert, and I heard the temps are close to 90 degrees. Lucky you!
Looking forward to your return.:) Miss you!
Yes, it is a great cuppa. The Bewley's Clipper Gold is also very good. Another nice Irish tea is Barry's Irish Breakfast. I enjoy these types of tea, probably because I take my tea with milk and that does diminish the intensity.
You can find Bewley's tea and lots of nice shamrock cups and tea accessories at "bewleyirishimports.com".
I hadn't heard of Hurricane Herbal tea. Thanks for the info.
I love darjeeling, especially with a little milk/cream. I was told by a British tea shop owner once that milk doesn't go with darjeeling. What a rule-breaker I am. :)
Allibrew - you'd be OK with this blend. The Assam gives it enough oompf to handle the milk! Darjeeling is one of my favorites, too.
The Hurricane Herbal is being clearanced by Tea G as of this posting, so if you like it, click on the link Steph provided to get some before it is gone for good. It's excellent over ice.
