Enjoy these photos from my East Frisian tea today. I kept the menu simple, as I didn't want any of the food to compete with the tea. I wanted the focus of the menu to be all about this special tea. I served apple slices and cheese, and lavender-lemon tea bread. I will post that recipe later this week. For now, enjoy these photos and a little bit of Midwestern autumn! (Read more about East Frisian tea and how to make it here.)Also, a special "Congratulations!" to my dear friend, AZ Tea Lover, who just became AZ Tea Lover, PhD. Yippee!

What gorgeous china! And what a gorgeous vase of fall leaves! And I can just imagine how delicious everything else was! Thanks for sharing.
What a lovely afternoon! Thank you.
You always set such a gorgeous tea table. I'm eager to try East Frisian Tea and put real cream in it. I've never done that before.
You look so beautiful in the new photo you've posted, so elegant and feminine.
I love your fall tea. Everthing was so comfortable and pretty.
Hi Steph,
Found you on Tea With Friends. You site is lovely and I am looking forward to searching for East Frisian Tea. It sounds not only indulgent but fun. I know my granddaughter will love to hear the rock candy crackle.
Lovely!
