China Tea, Hand-Delivered

This lovely jasmine tea came from China (well, of course, Stephanie!) - but it came to me hand-delivered by Esme, from her recent trip to bring home her daughter.  How thoughtful it was for her to bring me something special, in the midst of her very busy and significant trip!

The green tea is heavily scented with Jasmine.  It's a bright and flavorful brew.  I will drink it and think of China and my new little friend.

The packaging says "Ten Fu Tea."  Esme also brought me a package of flowering teas, which I look forward to trying!  Thank you for the generous gifts.

I love these cute little teacups and it always makes me happy to see them in a blog post...I have eight of them and when I'm not drinking out of a mug, I'm drinking out of one of them.

They're so cute that I had to use them as a kind of "logo" for RateTea.net (in the upper-left corner), you also see it on our twitter account and other web presences.

=)

I have a few other matching pieces too...including two soup spoons, and I used to have a large bowl...but I don't have a teapot; I've thought of getting one.

Alex - You have good taste in teaware! "-)

The teapot came first, a gift from the hubby - then I found the teacups in Chinatown in San Fran.

The tea looks amazing and so do your teacups. What a wonderful gift!

The museum dress is very creative. I also enjoyed reading about going car free. My daughter has chosen to bike everywhere and take public transportation as are a lot of neighbors. It's great seeing so may bikes around. Blessings on your move.

A very thoughtful gift. I love receiving tea when a friend travels. I have a friend in Taiwan right now and she said she would bring me tea. Enjoy your lovely gift.

I am still thinking about "no car" and thinking how brave you are.
